Job summary
A leading lubricant distributor in Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive to promote and sell engine oil and lubricants. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and possess strong selling skills. Responsibilities include sourcing new accounts, promoting sales, and developing marketing strategies. The position requires willingness to travel extensively and proficiency in English and Bahasa. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, based in Kuantan or Kuala Terengganu.

- Willing to undertake more than 60% travel.
- Understand competitors' marketing plans.

- Proactively source and establish new accounts.
- Aggressively promote and generate sales.
- Ensure timely collection of debts.
- Accountable for market share and profit growth.
- Develop trade strategies and promotion plans.
- Track sales goals and report results.
Skills
Education
We are looking for an account executive who can sell Engine Oil Motorcycle Parts/Tyres/Lubricants outlet in this area. Channel will include visiting motorcycle workshops and motorcycle spare part shops. Preferably someone who\'s a fast learner and responsive with strong selling skills. Candidate with experience in FMCG line or selling engine oil/lubricants will be a priority.
- Proactively source and establish a new account.
- To aggressively promote and generate sales set by company.
- Ensure collection of debts in a timely manner.
- Accountable for an accelerated share of the market, sales, and profit growth for the assigned brand portfolio.
- Develop trade strategies and promotion plans to drive channel growth in terms of market share.
- Tracking Sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- REPORT directly to Managing Director
- Hard working, self-motivated, results oriented and honest.
- Candidate must possess driving license and own car.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa
- Able to work in a challenging and fast paced working environment.
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
- You are willing to undertake more than 60% travel.
- Understand competitors\' marketing plans (pricing, incentives, promotions, etc) and able to formulate marketing plan.
- Preferably Junior/Senior Executive specialized in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
- Position will be based in Kuantan or Kuala Terengganu.
