ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER
Job summary
A leading food processing company based in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement. With at least 3 years of experience in brand marketing, particularly in the food manufacturing or frozen food industry, candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in brand marketing or similar role.
- Experience in food manufacturing or frozen food industry preferred.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals.

- Support various marketing campaigns and initiatives.

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and support the overall business growth objectives.
- Lead Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with company goals.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead with insights into advertising, PR, and marketing communications.
- Budget Management: Plan and oversee marketing budgets to ensure maximum impact.
- Campaign Support: Assist in all marketing campaigns, from websites to events.
- Material Production: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to enhance product marketing programs.
- Opportunity Identification: Propose new market and brand opportunities to management.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors and suggest improvements to marketing strategies.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar brand marketing/marketer role; experience in food manufacturing or frozen food industry. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments preferred.
- Education: At least Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication (written & verbal) skills. High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is crucial & non-negotiable, for reporting and presentations.
- Mindset: You are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic plans.
