Job summary

A recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to manage sales order intake, coordinate communication with stakeholders, and perform detailed market research. The successful applicant will prepare reports, document changes, and manage forecasts to support effective sales operations. Additionally, the role includes coordinating logistics and supporting quality assurance initiatives. Strong analytical skills and efficient coordination are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales order intake efficiently.
  • Process and follow up on new Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
  • Maintain frequent email communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with customers, HQ, and cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare weekly reports and formal letters.
  • Take and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Document engineering changes and follow through on implementation.
  • Conduct surveys and gather insights from customers and Japan HQ to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage sales forecasts, including Niguri, BI, and part number forecasts.
  • Conduct price and volume analysis to support pricing strategies.
  • Perform supply route analysis for optimal logistics planning.
  • Coordinate delivery arrangements with internal teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock movement for sales planning.
  • Handle additional surveys or data requests from management.
  • Coordinate with third-party warehouses and customs officers if necessary.
  • Support quality assurance-related tasks and discussions.
