A global manufacturing organization in the semiconductor industry, specializing in the design and production of wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The company supports leading chipmakers worldwide by delivering high-precision systems critical to front-end wafer processes such as etch, deposition, and cleaning. Operations are conducted in a controlled clean-room environment, with strong emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Assembler is responsible for assembling high-precision mechanical and electromechanical components used in wafer fabrication equipment. This role involves working in a clean-room manufacturing environment, following detailed work instructions to ensure products meet strict quality and performance standards.

• Follow computer-based work instructions to accurately install parts and hardware on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) using appropriate hand tools and fixtures in a Lean clean-room manufacturing environment.

• Utilize hand tools, torque wrenches, equipment, and fixtures effectively to assemble WFE to specification.

• Read, interpret, and navigate work instructions, drawings, and schematics accurately.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.

• Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities, including rework activities and pilot build projects.

• Complete all required training and certifications related to processes, procedures, and equipment.

• Verify that correct parts are received and perform visual inspections of components prior to installation.

• Support internal and external audits through visual inspections and checklist verification.

• Close assigned tasks by confirming work completion, validating system documentation completion, and providing clear descriptions of completed activities.

• Ensure proper installation of parts and hardware by strictly following system instructions and verifying task completion.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times.

• Consistently demonstrate professional behavior aligned with organizational values and quality standards.

• Minimum Diploma in any Engineering discipline.

• 1–2 years of relevant electrical or electronics assembly experience, depending on role level.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to remain flexible and responsive to changing priorities, including rework, overtime, and occasional limited travel to other facilities when required.

• Comfortable using computer-based systems and digital applications.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, time-sensitive manufacturing environment.

• Ability to squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand, and work in ergonomically challenging positions for more than 50% of the working time.

• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds (approximately 16 kg).

• Perform repetitive hand movements using various hand tools for extended periods.

• Ability to distinguish colors accurately for wire identification purposes.

• Proficient in using hand tools, including but not limited to:
