We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at BENAR SEJAGAT SDN. BHD. in Melaka. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the Development financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
• Monitoring project costs and variations, and providing regular financial reports
• Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to optimise project delivery
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
• Providing expert advice and support to the wider team on quantity surveying matters

What we're looking for

• Degree or professional qualification or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and spreadsheet tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Proactive problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in the Malaysian construction industry is highly desirable
