A leading construction firm in Malaysia seeks a Quantity Surveyor to assist in tender preparation, support cost estimation, and manage project contracts. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and good communication skills. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of quantity surveying practices and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment. They will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.

Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender documents, including BQ, pricing schedules, method statements and technical submissions.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to understand project scope under guidance from Head of department.
Support cost estimating activities including quantity take-offs and pricing using standard templates, market references, and historical data.
Coordinate with subcontracts and suppliers by issuing inquiry, collecting quotations and preparing comparison sheets.
Assist in preparing interim payment certificates and maintaining cost-related.
Support tender clarifications, pre-tender queries and value engineering proposals including evaluation of alternative materials or methods.
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related.
Basic understanding of quantity surveying practices, contract administration and construction-related regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and consultants.
Able to work independently with guidance and contribute effectively in a team environment.
Preparing and managing construction contracts including reviewing, negotiating and finalising contract terms.
Performing quantity surveying duties such as cost estimation, cost control and measurement works.
Liaising with Consultant, subcontractors and site personal to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risk or issues.
Preparing and submitting progress claims, variation orders and other contractual documentation.
Providing technical advice and support to the construction team.
