A leading construction company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and contract aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, with at least 2 years of experience, preferably with main contractors. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. This role involves liaising with various stakeholders and preparing progress claims and cost proposals. Benefits include annual leave, medical leave, and bonuses.

Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Manage all aspects of cost and contract management for construction projects.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Handle procurement: source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage subcontractor engagements.
Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and project cost monitoring.
Participate in pre-tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, price comparison, and tender submissions.
Assist in tender interviews and negotiations when required.
Work closely with project and site teams to ensure financial control and timely project completion.
Prepare cost proposals, quotations, and tender documents for new projects.
Handle project documentation including PQP, safety-related paperwork, and other site administrative matters.
(Advantage) Knowledge in landscape works or interior projects is a plus.
