A renowned retail establishment in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive for Events & Promotions. The role involves developing and implementing event marketing strategies, managing logistics, collaborating with retailers for promotions, and analyzing event performance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields, with proven experience in event planning. Strong communication and project management skills are essential, along with proficiency in digital marketing tools. Flexibility to work outside normal hours is required.
Assist to develop and implement marketing strategies for events and promotions, from concept through to execution.
Coordinate and manage all logistics related to events, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and on-site execution.
Prepare and submit contracts and agreements at least one month in advance for internal approval.
Collaborate with retailers to develop joint promotions and loyalty programmes, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
Monitor and analyze event performance metrics and customer feedback to identify improvement areas.
Prepare comprehensive event reports detailing key outcomes, insights, and recommendations.
Manage social media campaigns related to events, using created content to maximise engagement and reach.
Continuously improve event processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
Ensure all events comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in event planning and promotions, preferably within a retail or shopping mall environment.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content creation software.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required for events, with replacement off days provided.
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and flexibility.
