Job summary
An IT services company in Johor Bahru is seeking an IT support specialist. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing incidents, and providing timely updates on service requests. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of onsite support experience, basic server and network troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with O365. Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows troubleshooting is also essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in onsite support for desktops/notebook/mobile devices.
- Basic knowledge in troubleshooting server and network issues.
- Familiar with O365, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot on EUC/Server/Network related issues.
- Provide support for O365.
- Manage issues in Service Management System.
- Perform L1 troubleshooting and request fulfilment.
- Respond to incoming enquiries/incident/request.
- Provide status updates on incidents/service requests.
Skills
- Troubleshoot on EUC/Server/Network related issues
- Provide support for O365
- Familiar with desktop reimaging
- Troubleshoot hardware/software related issues

- Respond to the incoming enquiries/incident/request
- Record and manage all issues in Service Management System
- L1 troubleshooting and request fulfilment.
- Password reset and unlock.
- Perform support for employee onboarding and offboarding for IT equipment
- Provide timely status update on issues escalated and to close tickets within service level agreement.
- Ensure daily tasks are executed according to SOP (Standard Operation Procedure)
- Provide update of status / progress of incident / service request to Service Desk
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in onsite support for desktops/notebook/mobile device.
- Have basic knowledge in troubleshooting server and network issues.
- Familiar with Active Directory
- Familiar with O365, excel, powerpoint, and windows troubleshooting and resolution.
