Job description

CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly

Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production

Proactively identify problem areas and organize support for manufacturing with root cause analysis and process improvement that supports a lean environment

Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance

Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Provide reports as necessary to appropriate staff

Observe and learn Ascentec's procedures and documentation

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time

Experience working in the contract manufacturing industry is a plus

Education: Diploma in Engineering is preferred

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards applicable to engineering projects.
