Sunway Spun Pile (M) Sdn Bhd is one of the subsidiaries under the Building Group of Sunway Berhad. We manufacture high strength pretensioned spun concrete piles (PHC piles) and we are currently expanding our business aggressively in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the manager to plan, organise the machineries, equipment and manpower requirement for the smooth running of the plant operation to achieve targeted productivity and quality requirement within the budgeted production cost.
• Propose proper control of standard operating procedures of the production plant to ensure accountability of the production workforce and requirements are met accordingly.
• Study and analyse the processes to recommend and implement process improvement or reengineering, and to improve productivity and reduce the R&M cost.
• Prepare production manpower planning according to the production schedule to ensure all resources are optimised in carrying out the production and maintenance activities.
• Train production staff on their respective job functions to ensure the right techniques and skills are practiced at the workplace.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all the certifications and programs (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA program, SIRIM, IKRAM, and Ready-Mixed Concrete Certification, etc) and ensure that the procedures are followed and adhered to by all employees working in the plant.
• Any assignment assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or relevant discipline).
• Industrial knowledge in concrete products is preferable.
• Possess between 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations and good organisational skill.
• Proven leadership capability in leading production supervisors, technicians, operators and foreign workers.
• Strong communication skills, ambitious and eager to learn.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Batang Kali.
