Job summary

An IT services company in Johor Bahru is seeking an IT support specialist. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing incidents, and providing timely updates on service requests. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of onsite support experience, basic server and network troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with O365.   • Troubleshoot on EUC/Server/Network related issues.
  • Provide support for O365.
  • Manage issues in Service Management System.
  • Perform L1 troubleshooting and request fulfilment.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries/incident/request.
  • Provide status updates on incidents/service requests.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot on EUC/Server/Network related issues
  • Provide support for O365
  • Familiar with desktop reimaging
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software related issues
  • Application troubleshooting
  • Event monitoring
  • Respond to the incoming enquiries/incident/request
  • Record and manage all issues in Service Management System
  • L1 troubleshooting and request fulfilment.
  • Password reset and unlock.
  • Perform support for employee onboarding and offboarding for IT equipment
  • Provide timely status update on issues escalated and to close tickets within service level agreement.
  • Ensure daily tasks are executed according to SOP (Standard Operation Procedure)
  • Provide update of status / progress of incident / service request to Service Desk
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in onsite support for desktops/notebook/mobile device.
  • Have basic knowledge in troubleshooting server and network issues.
  • Familiar with Active Directory
  • Familiar with O365, excel, powerpoint, and windows troubleshooting and resolution.
