Assistant Manager Technical Support - Piping

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of piping engineers and draftsmen;
• Providing technical guidance and coaching to team to provide fiberglass piping design review and advisory to customers in shipbuilding and offshore business
• Overall managing TSG Teams to deliver fiberglass piping prefabrication spool drawings meeting customer/project requirements
• Overall managing team and team member performance, productivity, on time delivery and spool drawing quality.
• Oversee work assignment - projects/jobs allocation
• Fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
• Identify and drive development and improvement
• Exploring opportunities and collaboration with other department and business units.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience of relevant experience, or Diploma qualification with at least 8 years’ experience.
• Possess strong technical background in piping design and construction preferably in shipbuilding and/or offshore project construction
• Proven experience in planning, executing and managing projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven record of department/team management experience
• Experience in interactions with customers and partners across different countries and cultures
• Broad understanding of organization operation and development
