Job summary

A leading feedmill company in Selangor is looking for a candidate to maintain their nutrition and cost database in formulation software and assist in the execution of SOPs. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication skills, especially in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Responsibilities include monitoring quality consistency from formulation to production and ensuring formulations comply with local regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintain nutrition and cost database in Brill®Formulation (formulation & Feed ERP software).
• Assist team leader in executing the formulation of SOP under HQ policy.
• Monitor the quality consistency from formulation design to production execution.
• Integrate feed performance data and analyze competitor’s products.
• Ensure that feed formulations comply with local regulations and compliance.
• Raw material requirement plan update for purchasing.
• Competitor product collection and inspection.
• Visit all farms and track farming performance.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of feed on the growth, health, and survival of animal husbandry species.
• Maintain accurate records of formulation procedures, results and observations. Prepare presentations to communicate proposal to colleagues and clients.
• Communicate with outside vendors and laboratories.
• Continuously work on cost-effective feed formulations without compromising nutritional value.
• To undertake job-related tasks as assigned by the superior/ the management.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or above in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or a related field.
• Priority will be given to master’s degree holders in Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication & coordination skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, procurement, and production.
