A Minimum Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline required
At least 5 years of work experience in construction, site supervision or HVAC engineering
Good working knowledge of ACAD, Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Project
Good knowledge in HVAC design, thermodynamics, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, Firefighting, Process Utility Systems and civil work
Experience in executing Project Quality Plan is an advantage
Ability to utilize 3D BIM drawing system is an advantage
Job Description:
Determine project specifications- scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timeline and budget from the product design, technical feasibility, performance standards, resources availability and customer’s expectations.
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis, ensure the budgeted and actual profit margin is within acceptable limit determined by senior management.
Constantly explore alternative solutions that are cost-effective and of high quality.
Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents from client or architect.
Ensure the user requirements and expectations are clear and sufficient. All expectations must be addressed in the project proposal.
Prepare and submit project proposal/quotation/tender documents.
Define, schedule and accurately estimate each task duration to develop and maintain a realistic project schedule.
Plan and allocate resources required for successful project execution. Tasks and deadlines shall be assigned appropriately to staff, with proper processes and tools in place.
Develop an inspection and test plan. Ensure the plans are carried out by subordinates according to the checklists.
Review all purchase orders, contract or letter of award received and comprehend client’s terms in the contract specifications.
Enforce the requirements in contract specifications, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, company internal quality standards, local construction regulations and safety compliance.
Liaise with local authority (where appropriate) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
Communicate user requirements, regulatory requirements, project plans and schedule to all interested parties regularly.
Constantly monitor and track changes in project design, specifications, plan and schedule.
Present reports on progress, problems and solutions to stakeholders i.e. clients, architects and superiors.
