Job summary
A leading global provider of energy services is seeking an Entry-Level Technician for down-hole tools at their warehouse in Malaysia. The role requires mechanical and electronics aptitude, along with a technical school certificate. Candidates will perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This full-time position offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in repairs and preventative maintenance on down-hole tool electronics.
- Ability to perform inspections under strict supervision.
- Knowledge of assembly and disassembly of PSL equipment.

- Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down‑hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down‑hole tools, including Directional/RSS or M/LWD sensors.
- Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
- Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down‑hole tools.
- Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
