Job summary

A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Ipoh is seeking candidates for an equipment maintenance position. Responsibilities include setup, conversion, and troubleshooting of equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and monitoring production output. Applicants should hold a diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering. Experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred, and the ability to work on a shift basis is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis is required.
• Open to being based in Ipoh.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic equipment setup, conversion, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor production output and analyze machine downtime.
• Operate and diagnose production equipment for reliability.
• Understand equipment functions and perform troubleshooting with the right tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement and line optimization activities.
• Support 5S initiatives for a safe and organized working environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.
