Job summary

A leading AV service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced AV Technician to set up and maintain audio visual equipment for various events. The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a suitable qualification in Electronic, Electrical, or Engineering. Responsibilities include installing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting other technical teams. Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work well with various levels of the organization.

Job description

Set up and install audio visual equipment including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video conferencing system, microphones, speakers and etc for trainings, presentations, meeting and conferences.

Troubleshoots and maintains all the AV equipment and keep them always in good working order.

Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

Perform inspections and test equipment to ensure it is in a good and safe conditions.

Provide basic service and maintenance for all AV equipment.

Provide technical assistance to other technician team as and when required on maintenance of the company’s facility and M&E equipment, electrical system, fire-fighting system, air conditioning system, telecommunication system, security system, landscape, plumbing system and etc.

Ensure safety, security, cleanliness and health measures are in place at all times.

To assist in sending food and / or drink deliveries to customer.

All other job-related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualification

The candidate must possess at least Certificate, Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Engineering or equivalent.

Proven minimum (2) years previous experience working as AV Technician in a similar type of establishment.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, including good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
