Job description

1. Technical & Maintenance Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on specialised fertiliser equipment.

Process Monitoring: Monitor and adjust parameters via control panels to ensure maximum efficiency of the packing machines. Ensure that production wastages are reduced to the minimum.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in the packing machine and implement periodic machine maintenance.

2. Supervisory & Production Leadership

Production Scheduling: Plan and assign shifts for operators and general workers to meet daily and monthly production targets.

Manpower Management: Supervise on-site activities.

Quality Control (QC): Ensure that the sachet meets with the specifications on weight.

Training: Conduct on-the-job training for staff regarding machine operation and maintenance, raw material handling, and safety protocols.

3. Operational & Compliance Duties

Raw Material & Inventory: Monitor levels of finished goods.

Safety & PPE Enforcement: Strictly enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like respirators and gloves due to the dusty environment.

Environmental & Safety Audits: Assist in plant audits and ensure the facility remains "audit-ready" for safety and environmental regulatory bodies in Malaysia.

Reporting: Prepare daily shift reports, maintenance logs, daily production report, stock reports including machine spare parts.
