A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a proactive Test Engineer. Responsibilities include building wire harnesses and automated test systems, supporting validation efforts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Applicants should possess a diploma in electrical or electronic engineering and have a basic understanding of electronics and instrumentation. Build wire harnesses, Interface Test Adapters, test fixtures, and test station setups for test systems.
Support engineers in setting up and validating test systems for new product introductions.
Collaborate with team members to improve test processes and efficiency.
Operate and maintain automated test systems and equipment.
Perform maintenance and support calibration of test equipment.
Execute test procedures and perform functional testing on NI products according to established guidelines.
Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues during testing.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO14k standards in all testing activities.

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Basic understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and measurement principles.
Familiarity with computers and ability to learn test software (LabVIEW/TestStand experience is a plus).
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
Experience in R&D or test environment.
Knowledge of automated test systems and basic programming concepts.
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions precisely.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Work effectively in a group development environment.
