A logistics firm is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Executive for a 6-month work-from-home contract, with potential for a 2-year extension based on performance. Responsibilities include updating shipment details, coordinating with sales and customers, preparing Delivery Orders, and monitoring shipments. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer tools like Excel. This role requires self-motivation and a meticulous approach to data entry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
  • Familiar with DO issuance, packing lists, and shipping documents.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

  • Update system with shipment details post-receipt of packing lists.
  • Coordinate with sales and customers regarding delivery and special needs.
  • Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DOs).
  • Monitor shipment status and follow up with forwarders.
  • Support daily coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments.
