Onsite System Engineer – Dell/VMware/Exchange (Penang)
Job summary
A Malaysian-owned IT company is looking for an experienced System Engineer to work onsite in Penang. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Dell servers, managing NetApp storage systems, and administering VMware environments. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory is essential. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are required to coordinate with the Taiwan HQ. This position offers a 12-month contract, providing an opportunity to work closely in a dynamic IT environment.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dell servers and storage systems.
- Strong experience in VMware configuration and maintenance.
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and support Dell servers.
- Manage Dell and NetApp storage systems.
- Administer VMware environments.
- Maintain Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Ensure system availability and reliability.
