Deloitte’s Financial Services industry group strives to support clients in addressing the challenges that impact today’s industry. Our member firm’s global network engages with clients to refine their business and operating models through innovative practices, improved processes and enabling advanced technologies.

You will work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on “Heart of the Business” issues and problem statements from architecting the strategic transformation agenda through driving business value leveraging AI and data solutions.

You will be part of Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) Service Offering, aligned with Financial Service, for Banking (Retail, SME, Wholesale, and Wealth) or Insurance (Life & General Insurance) and drive the latest and best‑in‑class transformation narrative for our Financial Services (FS) sector clients across Southeast Asia.

As a Manager / Senior Consultant, you will be involved in business development, sales, design, and delivery of large‑scale AI & data transformation programs, with a focus on modernizing data architecture, platforms, and ecosystems using cloud hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and specialist technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

• Support senior team members in advising financial institutions on modernizing data platforms and adopting AI/ML technologies.
• Develop and present proposals that reflect a deep understanding of the Financial Services AI & Data landscape, client’s problems/aspirations, regulatory requirements, and data modernization leading practices.
• Build excellent relationships with all leading hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and specialist technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) to build joint propositions and identify revenue generating opportunities early across FSI in Southeast Asia.
• Lead and deliver end‑to‑end on‑prem or data modernization programs, including strategy, architecture, design, migration, and operations.
• Oversee project teams delivering cloud‑native data architectures, data lakehouse implementations, customer data platform and real‑time data integration solutions using leading data platforms.
• Conduct data platform assessments, develop modernization roadmaps, and define target state architectures aligned to business goals.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and develop value‑driven propositions on leveraging AI/ML to address complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with C‑suite and senior stakeholders on shaping strategic priorities, technology investments, and operating model transformation.
• Manage project delivery economics, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor teams to develop future leaders in data platform modernization.

We’re looking for professionals with the following background:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in consulting, system integration, or data/digital transformation, with at least 5+ years in data platform modernization (on prem / cloud).
• Proven experience with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift.
• Deep understanding of hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)—certifications preferred.
• Experience in:
• Cloud Data Strategy & Migration
• Modern Data Platforms & Lakehouse Architecture
• Use of AI/ML to deliver business use cases
• Data Security, Compliance, and FinOps
• Ability to build strong relationships with hyperscalers and AI & data product vendors.
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and use of AI/ML to solve business problems.
• Blend of sales and delivery experience in selling and delivering AI & data solutions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead executive conversations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and delivery management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel based on client and project requirements.
