Job summary

A leading Intellectual Property firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional to draft patent specifications, manage patent portfolios, and conduct prior art searches. The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and has a minimum of five years of experience in Intellectual Property. Strong English skills and organizational abilities are essential for succeeding in this role. The firm values team players who can also work independently.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree or Master Degree preferably in Engineering, Science & Technology, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• At least five years of relevant experience in patent matters.
• Proficiency in drafting patent specifications and preparing Office Action responses.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent specifications and prepare specifications of goods and services.

• Administer and maintain patent portfolios.
• Ad hoc duties when assigned.

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge or experience in Intellectual Property.
