We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our dynamic team at Tan Cheah & Co. PLT in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a full-time Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external audit operations and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

• Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Perform detailed data analysis, reconciliations, and testing procedures to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Gather and document audit evidence, prepare working papers, and assist in the preparation of audit reports
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and clarify any discrepancies or queries
• Participate in team discussions, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes

• Completed or pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the successful delivery of audit engagements
• Knowledge of audit procedures and familiarity with accounting standards and regulations
