Senior Executive, SAP MM/PP Functional
Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on SAP MM/PP Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end enhancements and support SAP projects. You will collaborate with business users and cross-functional SAP teams, addressing system changes and ensuring seamless integration across modules. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of SAP experience, particularly in the manufacturing sector. Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM and/or PP experience.
- Strong understanding of PP (MRP, Demand Management, Production Orders) and MM (PR/PO Process, Inventory, Batch Management).
- Ability to configure and customize MM/PP modules.
- Solid communication skills and a proactive, user-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Drive and support SAP MM and/or PP-related projects.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Prepare documentation: functional specs, test scripts, and user guides.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Lead end‑to‑end SAP MM/PP enhancements and rollouts
- Work closely with business users — not just behind the screen

Drive and support SAP MM and/or PP‑related projects, changes, and daily operations.
Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
Perform system configuration and minor customizations.
Prepare documentation: functional specs, test scripts, user guides.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely, business‑friendly manner.
Ensure integration across SAP modules (SD, FICO, etc.) and third‑party systems.
A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (minimum CGPA 3.0 or Second‑Class Upper).
5+ years of hands‑on SAP MM and/or PP experience.
Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
Strong understanding of:
- PP: MRP, Demand Management, Production Orders
- MM: PR/PO Process, Inventory, Batch Management
Ability to configure and customize MM/PP modules.
Solid communication skills and a proactive, user‑first mindset.
ABAP knowledge for functional debugging is a bonus.
SAP Certification or MES integration experience is a plus.
