Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage storage inventory within the company target with optimum safety stocks and ensuring no stock outs
  • Validate and meet the monthly inventory days of supply and facilitate the reduction of excess inventory
  • Anticipate factors that might influence demand, such as Festive season, school holiday, monsoon season or upcoming promotions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ascertain delivery status and ensure timely action been taken for any delivery issue.
  • Oversee and manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
  • Report and escalation any supply risk issue
  • Prepare procurement report for management review
  • Collaborate with merchandising, operations, distribution and other supply chain department team members to drive change for improvements
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Economics or equivalent
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and/or other business intelligence. (Eg : tableau/Power BI)
  • Advanced mathematical and analytical skills
