Weare seeking an experienced Business Development Manager responsible for identifying and capitalising on new international market opportunities, building long-lasting relationships with overseas clients, and driving the expansion of our global footprint.
Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partners, and distribution channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and customer demand to drive proactive strategies.
- Manage relationships with existing distributors and dealers to ensure sustainable growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews, set sales targets, and monitor performance achievements.
Product & Marketing Support
- Promote full product range, positioning value proposition and competitive advantages.
- Provide feedback on product improvements, pricing competitiveness, and new product needs specific to the region.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and brand-building events in the assigned territory.
Business Reporting & Analysis
- Collect/analyze sales data and market feedback.
- Provide regular reports on market updates, customer activities, and sales forecasts.
- Propose solutions and action plans for business improvement in the region.
- Conduct business visits across assigned territories to maintain strong market visibility.
- Participate in customer meetings, showroom visits, and exhibitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Business Development, International Business or Sales role, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
- Thorough understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and market entry strategies.
- Willingness to travel internationally to meet with clients and explore new market opportunities.
