The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth for Twenty Logistics by acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and optimising lane utilisation especially cross-border routes between Singapore to Malaysia. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, securing profitable contracts, improving backhaul rates, and working closely with operations to ensure service excellence.
The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, hands‑on, and experienced in logistics or transportation sales, with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of freight pricing, customer behaviour, and cross‑border logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across Singapore–Malaysia routes
- Identify, pursue, and onboard new customers (manufacturers, distributors, traders, MNCs, freight forwarders)
- Actively sell full‑truck‑load (FTL) services, return loads (backhaul), and contract logistics solutions
- Drive improved backhaul utilisation to maximise truck profitability
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts to customers
Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to increase volume and margin
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels while protecting company margins
- Handle customer feedback, service issues, and escalation professionally
Commercial & Pricing Control
- Work closely with Operations and Management to align pricing with cost structures
- Monitor market rates, competitors, and customer trends
- Ensure pricing decisions support overall profitability and breakeven targets
- Support management in forecasting sales volume and revenue
Coordination with Operations
- Liaise with operations and planning teams to ensure smooth execution of trips
- Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated to operations
- Support operational efficiency by balancing sales growth with capacity planning
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and customer data
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management
- Track KPIs such as revenue, trip volume, backhaul rates, and customer retention

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales
- Strong understanding of cross-border Malaysia–Singapore trucking (preferred)
- Proven track record in B2B sales and contract negotiation
- Good knowledge of pricing structures, cost control, and margins
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills
