Contract: 2 years, renewable
Salary: Approximately RM20,000 per month for suitable experience, plus annual flights, medical insurance and Employer Provident Fund (EPF).
Lead the Science department for a secondary school (5‑7 forms), covering KS3 and IGCSE level Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Combined Science).
Manage a team of eight teachers and two laboratory technicians.
Develop curriculum and instructional strategies in line with the Cambridge IGCSE and International Primary Curriculum.
Maintain high academic standards; support teachers to achieve >90% A*–C pass rates and >60% A*/A at IGCSE.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
Curriculum experience required: Yes – not flexible.
Eligible to work: Must be 60 or younger, with a minimum of 2 years post qualification teaching experience.
Visa restriction: 2 years post qualification teaching experience required.
Experience with IGCSE curriculum preferred.
The school is an international institution located in Taman Maluri, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that serves students aged 3 to 16 under the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum, culminating in Cambridge IGCSE courses.
