Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Malaysia is seeking a qualified engineer with a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in the Engineering Consultancy/Construction industry, along with strong knowledge in MV and LV system design. Excellent communication skills are vital, and familiarity with Data Centre design and BIM is an advantage. The successful applicant will manage project schedules and ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years' experience working in Engineering Consultancy/Construction industry.
• Background in Data Centre design and commissioning experience is a plus.
• Experience eligible for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical safety and quality management.
• Conduct contract administration and testing & commissioning.

Skills

Strong electrical power system knowledge in MV and LV design

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English)

Ability to think on feet and deliver projects on schedule

Education

Bachelor or post graduate degree in Electrical Engineering

BIM skills or ATD accreditation

Necessary experience eligible for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or a registered PEPC

Candidate with the skill of BIM or have accreditation as ATD will be an added advantage
