SCM MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER (Based in Philippines)
SCM Manager / Senior Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of all areas of the organization. This role is critical to the success of the organization, as the role will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategic plan, working with senior leadership to ensure that goals are met and objectives are achieved. The Assistant Planning Manager will also manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, as well as develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Procurement Support and Strategy Planning: Provide comprehensive support and relevant information to the Section Head and Department Head for material purchases and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and effective decision-making processes.
- Inventory Management: Take responsibility for maintaining inventory levels at an optimal balance, monitoring stock levels closely to prevent shortages or excess, and ensuring a consistent flow of materials to meet operational needs.
- Team Leadership and Guidance: Guide and support team members in the management of their day-to-day activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures, while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Production Schedule Optimization: Assess and revise production schedules as necessary to optimize run quantities, minimize changeovers, and ensure on-time delivery, thereby enhancing production efficiency and meeting project deadlines.
- Material Issue Resolution: Co-ordinate with buyers to address and resolve any outstanding material issues, proactively eliminating potential shortages and ensuring timely availability of materials to prevent disruptions in the production process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Supply Chain Management, Business Management or relevant field.
- Proven experience working as a production planner.
- Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to stay in Philippines over extended period of time to support the operations there.
