Job summary
A local technology firm in Kuala Selangor is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage a full set of accounts. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the accounts department, proficient in Excel and SQL accounting software, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include processing payments, submitting tax reports, and preparing financial statements. This role emphasizes accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in accounts department.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial statements.
- Process monthly payments and ensure compliance.
- Submit EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax, and HRDF Levy on time.
Skills
Education
- Handle full set of accounts, review accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and inter-co reconciliations.
- Process monthly payments following approved procedures and guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Timely submission of EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax and HRDF Levy.
- To prepare and update sales invoices, debit and credit note
- Responsible for yearly audit exercise, prepare the financial statements and corporate tax submission
- Handle the filing and housekeeping of records and reports.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all Company matters.
- To carry any other duties, responsibilities, and ad-hoc assignments whenever required, directed or instructed by superiors.
- Knowledge in Excel and SQL accounting software.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people of all levels, and be a team player is essential.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in accounts department
This position requires Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting or other related disciplines
