A growing engineering company in George Town, Penang is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain financial records and prepare reports. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of SPM or a Diploma in Accounting, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in SQL Accounting software are essential, along with strong communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Malay. Plusmy Advance Engineering Sdn Bhd – George Town, Penang
Maintaining and reconciling financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and petty cash
Preparing monthly financial reports and statements
Providing administrative support, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and filing documents
Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities
Tally transactions and assist in month-end closing
Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Business Admin or related field with 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or administrative role
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial and administrative tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
Independent, self-esteem, passionate, responsible, committed and smart / hard working
Proficient in SQL Accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Proficient in Mandarin, English & Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
