Job summary
A leading insurance services company is seeking a Medical Claims Associate, welcoming fresh graduates and Medical Lab Technologists to apply. The role involves assessing and paying outpatient and inpatient claims for Group policy holders, meeting set quality targets, and ensuring timely communication. Candidates should have knowledge of medical terms and claims processes. Training will be provided, and the office will have a hybrid work arrangement with one day of remote work each week.

Responsibilities
- Assess and pay outpatient and inpatient hospitalization claims for Group policy holders.
- Review and pay cases exceeding authority limit.
- Meet quality target, turnaround time, and productivity benchmark.
Skills
Education
Responsible to assess and pay the outpatient and inpatient hospitalization claims for Group policy holders as per stipulated requirement and guidelines.
Responsible to review and pay cases that exceed authority limit.
Meet department and individual quality target, turnaround time and productivity benchmark.
Ensure all special account policy is attended and resolved within the agreed timeline.
Communicate closely with 24/7 contact centre and ensure emails are responded timely.
Assisting team members within the team as and when required.
Assist on general administration and any special allocated tasks as and when required.
Seek to understand rationale with facts for better claims analysis.
Education qualification in Biomedical, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Health Science, Biology or related fields
Fresh graduates and Medical Lab Technologists are welcomed to apply, training will be provided.
Sound knowledge of medical terms and claims processes
Ability to read and write Mandarin Chinese will be an added advantage but not a mandatory requirement
Good communication and decision-making skills
Self-motivated and customer-driven
Sound problem solving skill
Training will be provided
Our office is located in the serene town of Cyberjaya and we'll be moving to Putrajaya in 2026.
1 day work from home arrangement each week
