Sunway Education Group is seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering excellent HR services and support to join our HR team.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement Initiatives

Plan, design, and execute a year-round calendar of monthly employee engagement activities that promote connection, well-being, and a positive workplace culture.

Oversee end-to-end event management including budgeting, vendor coordination, logistics, promotion, registration, and post-event evaluation.

Ensure engagement activities are inclusive and meet the needs of diverse employee groups across departments.

Engagement Surveys & Insights

Lead the deployment of engagement surveys, pulse checks, and targeted feedback mechanisms (e.g., focus groups, quick polls).

Analyse survey results and prepare clear, data-driven insights, dashboards, and recommendations for management and HODs.

Facilitate post-survey discussions with HODs to identify engagement gaps and support them in developing action plans.

Monitor progress of department-level action items and provide guidance on improving engagement outcomes.

Communication & Culture Building

Support the creation and rollout of culture-building campaigns such as recognition programmes, appreciation initiatives, and values activation.

Prepare engaging communication materials including posters, announcements, decks, videos, and newsletters to promote engagement events and key messages.

Curate employee stories, success highlights, and visuals that reinforce a culture of appreciation and belonging.

Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and archives of all engagement initiatives.

Employee Experience & Continuous Improvement

Continuously evaluate the impact of engagement initiatives using data, participation metrics, and employee sentiment.

Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience across the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding experience, internal events, recognition touchpoints).

Stay updated on emerging trends in employee engagement, workplace culture, and HR practices to recommend innovative approaches.

General HR Support

Assist in other HR projects or initiatives related to employee experience, culture, well-being, and recognition.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in employee engagement, HR, internal communications, or event management (experience range may vary depending on Senior Executive or Assistant Manager level).

Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.

Creative, resourceful, and able to design activities that resonate with diverse employee groups.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret survey data and generate actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

High level of initiative, professionalism, and customer-centricity.
