Job summary
A reputable accounting firm in Kajang is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage daily accounting tasks including data entry, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience or be fresh graduates with a keen interest in accounting. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, with potential overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities
- Prepare checklist and request necessary documents from clients.
- Handle daily accounting tasks including data entry and bookkeeping.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash records.
- Issue invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare simple financial reports for internal review.

We, WINQ TAX SDN. BHD., are a well-established accounting firm with over 15 years in the industry. We manage accounts, audits, and taxes for more than 70 clients. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in accounting and finance to join our team.
- Prepare checklist and request necessary documents from clients.
- Handle daily accounting tasks such as data entry and bookkeeping.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash records.
- Issue invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Prepare simple financial reports for internal review.
- Work with Autocount accounting software.
- Assist on other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
- SPM / Diploma / Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Based in Kajang or Selangor preferred.
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM
