Logistics & Warehouse Manager - Industrial Manufacturing
Warehouse Management
- Coordinate warehouse operations for maximum efficiency by managing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and implementing effective storage solutions.
- Establish best practices and utilize modern technology such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes.
- Design warehouse systems covering stock distribution, product handling, storage requirements, equipment use, gate processes, and shipping methods.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure accuracy in inventory, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, space utilization, and productivity.
- Collaborate with management teams to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and preparing performance and expense reports.
- Conduct inventory audits and recommend restocking strategies.
- Enforce SOPs to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor the warehouse team to resolve operational issues and achieve short- and long-term goals.
Logistics Management
- Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely distribution, including handling dangerous goods.
- Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies; optimize routes and methods to improve delivery times and reduce costs.
- Oversee product transportation to customers and company facilities, including driver communication, carrier coordination, and shipping schedules.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships; negotiate contracts with logistics providers for favourable terms.
- Handle customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for smooth clearance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Export, Purchasing, Production) to resolve issues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to address daily operational challenges and achieve performance goals.

Key Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics leadership roles, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record as a Warehouse and Logistics Manager or similar role, with strong knowledge of supply chain principles and systems (ERP, WMS, IMS, 3PL).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Comprehensive understanding of SOPs, legal compliance, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated success in implementing operational excellence and improvement strategies across large organizations.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, make effective decisions, and think creatively and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
