Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is looking for an HR Assistant Manager to oversee hiring, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Human Resources Management and at least 5 years of experience, with strong knowledge of Labour Law and Industrial Relations. This role requires managing HR strategies and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. A competitive salary of up to RM8,000 is offered for this full-time position.

HR Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Indusrty

Company Background: PlasticManufacturing/ Injection Molding

Working day: Mon to Fri (8:00am - 4:30pm)

Salary: up to RM8,000

  • Assist HR Manager with the overall hiring and recruitment, involving planning with related departments and the administrative requirements of both facilities. This is also aligned with the companys strategic direction.
  • Assist with overall data facilitating KPI and budgets for the department.
  • Assist with the overall management of training and development, including annual training needs, analysis consisting of both internal and external training, keeping and maintain relevant records for audits.
  • Assist with ensuring overall workers hostel and its management consisting of 6S, audits, workers discipline, adequate facilities in accordance to Act 446 hostel requirements adequate properties for housing workers and management of hostel programs e.g. hostel mentor programs, internal and external hostel audits.
  • Ensure staff welfare, compensation and relevant improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accuracy of salary calculations.
  • Ensure compliance to Labour Law on working hours, overtime, rest days/public holidays.
  • Ensure review, revise and updating of HR policies, Employee Handbook, registration of relevant document in DMS system for ISO compliance.
  • Manage employee grievances, counselling, conflicts, talent retention and employee relations.
  • Manage HR data management
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's business objectives.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • With Labour Law and Industrial Relations knowledge and skills
