Job summary

A leading company in the F&B sector located in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts, prepare monthly financial reports, and monitor cash flow. Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, with a minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience preferred in F&B or retail sectors. Strong organizational, communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software are crucial for success in this role. This position offers opportunities to liaise with external auditors and involve in compliance tasks.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.

Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and outlet expenses.

Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit and management review.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when required.

Prepare official letters, forms, and supporting documents for submissions.

Maintain administrative records, contracts, and authority correspondence.

Assist in all types of documentation and compliance requirements.

Support management on ad-hoc admin and compliance-related tasks.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 4–6 years working experience, preferably in F&B, retail, or multi-outlet operations.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Good communication skills and able to liaise with external parties.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting systems.
