A manufacturing company located in Johor, Kulai is seeking a quality assurance professional responsible for liaising with customers on corrective actions and conducting root cause analysis for quality control fallout. The role includes monitoring product quality performance, facilitating quality improvement meetings, and training QA inspectors. Job Responsibilities
Liaise with Customer on quality for internal/external corrective actions and RMA issues (SCAR, audits, etc.) including periodic reviews.
Liaise with PE, ME, Test Engr on all quality issues such as evaluation of manufacturing process, reject investigation, corrective action to reduce the customer reject and field return rate for continual improvement.
Conduct root cause analysis for In-Process and Outgoing QC fallout and verify first level analysis by ME on production line fallout before requesting the Supplier Quality Engineer for vendors’ failure analysis and actions.
Ensure failure analysis and evaluations are carried out satisfactorily to identify the root cause and drive for closure of corrective actions for reliability test rejects.
Chair internal weekly or bi-weekly product quality improvement meetings.
Co-ordinate and enforce engineering change/production part approval process in accordance to NPI procedure.
Verify RMA returns, control RMA aging and drive for RMA improvement.
Perform E-purge and coordinate rescreen on quality issue.
Compile NPI Yield (EVT, DVT, MVT) Reports.
Follow up with ME that FMEA is updated periodically.
Monitor product quality performance and generate quality reports.
Conduct quality training/ cross training for QA inspectors.
Involve in internal quality audits (ESD, QMS).
Generate quality plans, procedures, QC guidelines for overall quality control and coordinate implementation for such plans, procedures or instructions.
Recommend and initiate continual improvement measures.
Prepare monthly and quarterly quality meeting presentations materials.
