Job summary

A leading food company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Sales Executive. The role focuses on developing sales strategies, conducting market research, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates should have at least SPM qualification and 2 years of experience in the FMCG/Food Industry, along with strong communication skills. Job description

To develop and implement effective sales strategies including to identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s customer base to drive business growth.

To conduct market research on industry trends and competitor activities including analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

To build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships where to understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements including handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally.

To conduct regular visit to customer outlets to understand needs, gather feedback and build relationships as well as monitor product placement, stock and merchandising to boost satisfaction, sales, and team performance.

Identify and address any issues or challenges faced by customers or the sales team during visits. Act as a liaison between the customer and internal departments to resolve problems efficiently including Implement solutions to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance.

To plan and executing marketing events such as school project, charity events, roadshow sampling activities aimed at promoting the company’s products and services to increase brand awareness as well as boosted sales.

To monitor any application of Point of Sales Materials (POSM) including conducting regular audits of customer outlets, Identify and resolve any issues related to POSM placement and condition to ensure POSM is correctly installed, well-maintained, and up-to-date.

To provide guidance to junior and perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess at least SPM qualification.

Preferably at least 2 years working experience in FMCG/ Food Industry.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
