A leading construction company is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to develop and implement quality control plans, monitor construction activities, and conduct site inspections. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in QA/QC roles in the construction industry. You will be responsible for approving materials, preparing quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
Coordinate and supervise third-party inspections and testing.
Review and approve construction materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and project requirements.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection test plans (ITP), method statements, checklists, and NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports).
Identify and report non‑conformities, recommend corrective actions, and verify their implementation.
Ensure that construction works are carried out to the required quality standards and coordinate with the QA/QC team and consultants/clients as needed.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Provide quality‑related training and guidance to project staff and subcontractors.
Monitor the calibration and maintenance of quality‑related equipment.
Generate regular reports on QC performance.
