The role of the Account Manager is to manage an existing list of accounts to achieve the desired retention rates. This is a great opportunity for an energetic Account Manager to effectively renew a list of existing accounts for the Intellectual Property (IP) business. The ideal candidate will also need a strong background in prospection, as 60% of the role involves pursuing new logos.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • A self-starter who is not afraid of taking initiative and generating ideas to find and grow new business
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 4-5 years of Account Management experience
  • Language requirements: Arabic is preferred
  • Persistent and motivated to overachieve against targets
  • Excellent sales, account management, and presentation skills
  • Great organization and time management skills
  • General knowledge of utilizing SFDC
  • Curious, flexible, and competitive
  • Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
  • Proficiency in WebEx, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred
  • Desire to grow in your career and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in Information Technology, Legal Services, and Information Services is a bonus
  • Experience in Intellectual Property is a plus
  • Experience working with global teams

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by meeting retention targets and growing new logos within the assigned region
  • Accurately forecast to your direct manager with consistent communication each month
  • Work efficiently with customers and leads, following Clarivate’s sales cycle in Salesforce
  • Continuously learn and improve understanding of relevant Clarivate products
  • Understand competitor products and services to position Clarivate effectively
  • Participate actively in team meetings and share knowledge
  • Maintain adequate meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management
  • Create and update account profiles, provide quotes, and book deals in Salesforce
  • Identify potential targets and contact lists within existing clients

About the Team

This role reports to the Senior Director, IP Segment Sales Northern Europe and Middle East, and is part of a team of 8 Account Managers across the UK, Sweden, and Dubai.

Hours of Work

Full-time, permanent role based in Dubai, with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in the office per week). The role requires approximately 40% travel.
