Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring piping and welding activities to ensure conformity to specifications codes and standards including SHELL DEP and ADNOC protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect weld joints and piping installations.
- Verify WPS PQR and welder qualifications.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections.
- Monitor welding processes and consumables.
- Prepare inspection reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SHELL DEP standards.
- Coordinate with third-party and client inspectors.
- Support pre-commissioning and final walkdowns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- 5 years of oil & gas inspection experience.
- Degree or diploma in welding preferred.
- Experience with international codes and standards.
- Familiarity with ADNOC & SHELL specifications.
- Certified welding inspection (e.g. CSWIP AWS) is a plus.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
