Job summary

A leading hospitality recruitment agency is searching for a Food and Beverage Deputy General Manager in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Hospitality Management and at least 5 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with significant experience in food & beverage management. Responsibilities include managing restaurant functions, staff training, and adherence to policies. This role requires a strong leader with excellent people skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Hotel/Resort Management, particularly in Food & Beverage management.
  • Experiences in managing staff and operations in a resort environment.
  • Capability to meet financial goals while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control assets of the Resort.
  • Complete management function of the Restaurant on site.
  • Train and manage performance of staff and contract personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to policies related to Food & Beverage.
  • Conduct month-end stock takes and prepare reports.
