Job summary

A luxury hotel group in Franschhoek is seeking a Restaurant Floor Supervisor to oversee service operations in the dining rooms. The successful candidate will manage Front of House staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and embody the hotel's commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. Applicants should have relevant experience in a luxury setting, excellent food and beverage knowledge, and strong leadership skills. A diploma in Hospitality Management and wine qualifications are preferred, along with the ability to work long hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel/restaurant environment.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Senior or Supervisor role.
• Proven experience in hosting discerning guests.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and control various operations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and resolve complaints.
• Conduct service briefings and training.

Skills

Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge

Strong organisational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Education
