- Operational Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage our operational teams to ensure the seamless and efficient functioning of our daily operations.
- Strategic Direction: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute operational strategies in line with the company\'s growth and financial objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee the effective allocation of resources, including personnel, vehicles, and equipment, to meet operational goals and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that our trailer manufacturing and truck sales operations meet the highest standards of quality and customer expectations. Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, closely monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures.
- Logistics and Distribution: Lead our logistics and distribution teams to optimize transportation routes, warehouse operations, and inventory management, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of commodities.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental sustainability. Implement safety measures to protect our workforce, assets, and the environment.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Customer Focus: Uphold and enhance the highest levels of customer service standards, promptly addressing any operational issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Proven leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on trailer manufacturing and truck sales.
- Strong background in operations management and process optimization.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- A minimum of 10 years experience as a COO in a similar industry is essential
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Business, Logistics or a related field is required. A CA(SA) or master\'s degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
