OOm is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Social Media Strategist / Lead with strong creative instincts and leadership skills to drive social excellence for our clients. You’ll manage the full spectrum of social media—from strategy and content production to execution and performance optimisation—across a wide mix of local and regional brands.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency setting, with 3–5 years of experience, a sharp content mind, and the ability to both lead and execute.
Oversee day-to-day operations of client and agency social channels across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, XiaoHongShu, and other emerging platforms
Maintain a robust content calendar that balances always-on content, campaigns, key milestones, and brand priorities
Lead community management strategies and oversee moderation and reputation handling across platforms
Mentor and manage junior social media executives and interns
Work closely with internal teams (Creative, Paid Media, Account Management) to align social strategy with broader campaign objectives
Serve as a main point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders on all social-related matters
Plan, manage, and execute social-led campaigns across platforms
Collaborate with paid media teams to amplify organic content strategically
Ensure timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are managed effectively
Oversee the production of short-form videos, reels, static content, and storytelling series
Participate in pre-production planning, shoot approvals, and final content reviews to ensure consistency and quality
Monitor and evaluate content and campaign performance
Deliver clear reports and actionable insights to improve future results
Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to ensure fresh, relevant output

3–5 years of experience in an agency setting leading social media strategy and content development
Proven leadership experience, including managing junior team members or freelancers
Deep understanding of platform mechanics across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, XiaoHongShu, and others
Experience managing video and asset production, with a portfolio showcasing storytelling and campaign thinking
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working across teams and timelines
Strong communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of paid social amplification is a plus
Bonus: Familiarity with regional social trends in Southeast Asia and Greater China
