Position Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales, quality distribution, in-store excellence, and operational efficiency of the assigned account or channel.

Based on the product category, this role manages strategic relationships with telco/chain retailers/open channel retailer partners; responsible for monthly sales revenue targets for designated accounts.

(Product categories may include: Mobile Experience (MX), Home Appliances (HA/DA), AV/TV, Brand Memory, etc.)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives through joint-business-plans (JBP).
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular account business performance reviews (QBR).
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, terms & conditions for sales programs, and all relevant commercial matters with key accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze partners’ data and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve partners’ performance and overall business performance for the assigned product category.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of channel promotions and other commercial activities to meet both the business needs of external partners and Samsung Singapore.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant sales experience in the assigned product category or industry is highly preferred (e.g., mobile device and/or telecom industry for MX).
  • Experience in key account management and/or channel sales management is a strong plus.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in building and nurturing long-term business relationships with key accounts.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable connecting and presenting to ‘C-suite’ executives, both internally and externally.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven, detailed, with the ability to make business proposals/recommendations based on data and facts.
  • Self-initiated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong team spirit and willingness to go the extra mile and contribute as a team player.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (for weekly reports and stakeholder presentations).
